PICK YOUR INTERNET ADDRESS (Suffix):

Because your NewsBar is hosted for free by OrgSites.com, your organization does not have to purchase its own domain name. Your internet address must therefore begin with www.orgsites.com. Following this comes your state abbreviation (which is automatically supplied from the information you give above) and then the name you choose for your organization. The full internet address for your NewsBar will look like this:

www.orgsites.com/state/name-you-choose

The only part of your URL that you will need to choose is the word or continuous character string for the NAME-YOU-CHOOSE (Suffix) portion of your address. Use a short, descriptive name that is easily associated with your group.

The name must be a continuous string of letters, with no spaces, all lower case. DO NOT USE SPACES OR SPECIAL CHARACTERS (@ . # $ % ^ & | / + ' " ? ~ < >). A hyphen (-) is OK to separate words. Do not supply your state abbreviation. That is supplied automatically. Supply only the very last part (Suffix) of your URL.
