 The mission of DIGS, Inc. is to provide safe housing, work, and leisure opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities.

What is DIGS?

DIGS is a group of parents, caregivers, and concerned citizens who formed a 501C3 nonprofit corporation to Develop Independence, Growth and Security for the adults in our community with developmental disabilities.

Why is DIGS Important?


Community services using federal/state funding sources have waiting lists, funding freezes and complex rules and regulations.

Choices for finding housing beyond parents' or grandparents' homes are limited and expensive.

Opportunities are needed for our adults to have leisure choices with others they can truly call friends.

Number of adults with developmental disabilities needing services is increasing each year.

How Can I Help?


DIGS, Inc. is seeking donations of your time,
expertise and financial resources:

Volunteer to help or to be a mentor for one of our programs or activities.
