Noah’s Ark (What animal is missing?)
Need: Cards with animal pictures on them. (You can get them at the Dollar Store).
Directions: Place a group of different animal cards on the chalk tray. Have the students name what animals that they see. Students hide their eyes while the teacher removes one animal card. Then the students look and guess which animal is missing. Who ever guesses right gets to remove an animal and have everyone guess "Who's Missing".

Crafts:
The Good Samaritan Story Wheel- Print the top and bottom wheels out on cardstock. Cut out wheels. Cut out circle shape on the inside line edge of the top wheel. Have children color wheels. Attach a brass fastener through the center of both wheels. On the back of the bottom wheel attach a strip of cardstock (at least 1 inch wide and 6 inches long) leaving half extended over the side (so you can turn the wheel). You can also draw an arrow on the top side of the strip on the end to indicate which way to turn the bottom wheel.

Who Has The Fire?
Introduce game: What flickered around the disciple’s heads, but didn’t burn them? Fiery flames.
Need: Orange construction paper balled up to be the fire.
Directions: The children sit in a circle close together. The child who is “It” stands away from the circle and hides their eyes while the fire is passed around. When “It” says "STOP!", the child holding the fire hides it (under their leg, up their sleeve, etc.). The child who is “It” guesses who has the fire. The child who had the fire is now “It”.

Prayer Review
1. Say a line from the prayer “Hail Mary” or “Our Father” and have the students say the following line. Go back and forth until the prayer is finished.
2. Have the students sit in a circle. Tell the students that they are going to recite the “Hail Mary” or “Our Father”. Have each student say one word in the prayer and the next person will say the following word. If someone makes a mistake or gets stuck, he or she begins over again with the first word of the prayer. The last person that says, “Amen” finishes the prayer.
3. Ball Pass: Have the students sit in a circle. The teacher turns her back to the students and she says, "Pass, pass, pass." The students then pass a ball to their right around the circle. When the teacher says, "Stop," the child holding the ball and the person to his right and left say the prayer together.

Throw Away Your Sins Game- This is for younger students to understand that their sins are forgiven.
Need: 1 trashcan, a piece of paper for each child, and 1 chair.
Directions: Give each child a piece of paper. Have the children think of a recent time that they sinned, such as telling a lie about their homework, arguing with their parents, or a time they were disobedient, etc. Next, have them think of how many times they sinned during the past week. Remind them of all the things that may be considered a sin, and have them write the number down on the piece of paper. Tell the children, “Let’s pretend that you made your confession to the priest and you did your penance. Now your sins are forgiven. Let’s throw away your sins.”
Put a trashcan against a wall. Have the children line up behind a chair (to keep them from getting too close to the basket). One by one, have them throw their sins into a trashcan that is a few feet away.

The Ten Commandments- Moses brought down laws from the Lord. The children will turn cereal boxes into their own stone tablets. Even though this craft is from a preschool book, it is appropriate for older students. (Preschool Christian Crafts by Linda Standke, page 19 & 8).
Games:
Ten Commandments Memory Game (Catholic)- Cards are laid out in a grid face down, and players take turns flipping pairs of cards over. On each turn, the player will first turn one card over, then a second. If the two cards match, the player scores one point, the two cards are removed from the game, and the player gets another turn. If they do not match, the cards are turned back over.
The object is to match more pairs of cards than the opposing player. (One point is scored for each matched pair, and the player with the highest score after all cards have been matched wins.) When cards are turned over, it is important to remember where they are for when the matching card is turned up later in the game.
Ten Commandments File Folder Game: (Catholic Version posted, but you can easily change this to a Protestant Version by editing the Game Cards)
The objective of the game is to identify which one of the Ten Commandments the sin broke.

Need: Several common small objects
Directions: Place several small objects on a tray or table in front of the students where they all can see (number of objects that are age appropriate). Have the students name each object as you point to them. Students hide their eyes while the teacher removes one object. Then the students look and guess which object is missing. Christianopoly File Folder Game:
The objective of the game is to learn the responsibility of good financial stewardship; making the right decisions about the money we have and managing it wisely. This includes being able to pay necessary bills at home, putting aside for the things you want, and taking care of your family. Not only do you have bills to pay, mortgages, insurance, etc. you must pay taxes, make donations and do tithing as well.

4. How many times are you supposed to forgive someone? Not 7 times, but seventy times seven (490). In other words, many, many times.
