The Sons of Jericho
A gospel quartet group out of Kansas City, Missouri spreading the love of the Lord through song. Helping to build up the hearts and spirits of the down trodded and reminding them that God is able to see you through all trials that come your way. This group does believe that when praises go up, blessing do come down. You will find them always giving God the praise for His continuous saving power.
In the early 70's in Kansas City, MO there were three young boys at the time under the direction and training of their stepdad, Elder Daniel Rowden. They were one of the youngest male singing group in town. The Lord called these young men, William Craddock, Kenneth Craddock, and their cousin Terry Allen, to go forth for him to sing. Who has been together all these years like brothers.
These young men grew up in their grandmother, Elnora Ford, church and home. They learned the word of God from under the teaching of their mother, Beulah Craddock, who was also a singer with her sisters, The Craddock Gospel Singers. Between the two groups they did much singing in town along with traveling up and down the highways. They were known then as the Spiritual Beginners.
They were members of the National Quartet of Kansas City Local 12-1 youth department under the direction of President Cameron. They represented Kansas City youth on many programs. It was on one of these special occassions that they went to Chicago, IL at Rev. Clay Evans church that they got their name changed to the Sons of Jericho by President Harris, the president at the time of the Local Quartet Union 12-1.
He asked who were the parents of these young men because they had the church spirits in an uproar. He told them that they came here as the Beginners but that he hears Joshua marching around the walls of Jericho and they shall go forth tearing down many walls as they go forth singing God praises. He continues to say that they were some blessed young men starting out early and that he was renaming them. They are now grown and still tearing down satan walls. And here lies the Sons of Jericho.
