Nominating Committee As you may know the Pahaquarra District is lead by a committee of volunteers who help in the four areas of membership, finance, program, and unit service. Each year this committee is reviewed and reformed through the efforts of a District Nominating Committee. This year the Nominating Committee is being chaired by Bernie J. Cryan. The culmination of this committees effort is the District Annual Meeting. This year the annual meeting will be held on June 20, 2012 at 7:30 PM at the NJ Water Supply Authority located at 1851 Route 31, Clinton, NJ 08809.

If you have any nominations of volunteers that should be considered for membership on the District Committee, please forward them to the council office, attention Brian Dungan. As either a Charter Organization Representative, a present member of the District Committee or as a member of the Council Executive Board that resides in the Pahaquarra District, you are invited to attend and cast a vote during this meeting.

DISTRICT CUB SCOUT MEMBERSHIP & RECRUITING SURVEY

The Pahaquarra District Membership Committee is committed to supporting scout units in their recruiting and membership efforts. Cub Scout recruiting is critical to the overall health of Scouting in our communities, as it prviodes an "on-ramp" to the Scouting program for young boys and their families. Please take a few minutes to complete the on-line survey using the link below. You may wish to consult with the Pack Committee or other leaders in the pack prior to completing the survey.

Your survey answers and ideas will help us create an effective membership plan that supports your Pack and enhances Scouting on our region. Take the survey here: PAH Cub Scout Membership Survey

We will share the survey results at an upcoming Rountable meeting and through the district website.

There is still time to sign up for the 2013 Jamboree
Due to lower than anticipated registration to date nationwide, the National Jamboree Department has asked us to continue our promotion and recruiting for the 2013 Jamboree. For CNJC, this means we will attempt to fill a fifth troop (we are already about half-way there!) Applications and instructions (youths only) can be found on the Council websites, and the e-scouter, or you can request one from the Council office. Contact: Frank Battaglia

For everything you wanted to know about Jambo, click on The Official 2013 Scout Jamboree Site, the first major event at the new Summit Bechtel Scout Reserve, in WV. The CNJC Jambo Committee chair is Frank Battaglia. He can answer your questions. Here is an application form (PDF).
