WHAT IS OTM?

The Odessa Tactical Medics (OTM) is a newly founded organization established for the purpose of providing continuing education, advanced training, and the purchase of special equipment used by the SWAT Team. OTM operates as a CHARITABLE organization only. OTM's mission and non-profit classification does not allow for political agendas to include labor unions.
In January of 2004, while brainstorming ideas to help the SWAT Team, Tactical Medics, Buddy Pearce and David Dilbeck thought of "OTM". With the help and support of fellow team members OTM was made a reality and strives to this day to provide the SWAT Team with the best medical care possible. Recognized by the State of Texas as a non-profit organization, OTM is currently in the process of applying for 501c status as a non-profit organization with the IRS. OTM also plays a large role in public education and awareness to the role of EMS in a tactical environment. OTM meets this challenge by offering CPR classes to the public, participating in public relation events and by organizing fund raisers.
