Ridge View PTO Meeting
Next Meeting is April 23, 2009 at 3:15 in the Library. Ridgeviews PTO will be electing officers for the 2009-2010 school year. Please call the school if you're interested in a PTO position.This meeting will also include planning for end of year activities.
HEY EVERYBODY TIME TO SEND THEM IN!
That’s right! Hopefully you all have started collected and saving Box Tops for Ridge View Elementary School’s Big Box Top Contest!
During the next 3 weeks (April 13th thru May 1st) bring in the Box Tops you collected and see if you can help your class win a Popsicle Party or better yet…how about the Grand Prize of an Ice Cream Party.
Here’s all you need you to:
- If you haven’t started already, look everywhere for Box Tops, cut them out and collect them!
- Count your Box Tops and put them in a plastic bag and write the number of Box Tops you have in the bag on the bag.
- Bring your Box Tops to your class, between Monday, April 13th- Friday, May 1st.
- Help your teacher keep the chart in your class updated.
Remember:
Each classroom that reaches the goal of 500 (that is about 20 per child) will receive a Popsicle party. The class that brings in the MOST BOX TOPS will receive an Ice Cream party.
So on your mark, get set……………………..go!!! And Good Luck!
Save your soup labels and turn them in at the big soup can near the school office. Please make sure all labels have a bar code on them. If in doubt just send in the entire label. Thanks for all your help. BIG BONUS OFFERS! Check your local newspaper on Sunday October 12th for the opportunity to earn bonus points for our school.

Please note the following schedule and try to avoid appointments and other absences during your child's testing week.
April 13-28 4th Grade
April 16-27 5th Grade
April 17-30 3rd Grade
Kindergarten registration is scheduled for Wednesday, April 29th, from 1:30-3:00 p.m. Parents are reminded that students must be age 5 on or before August 31, 2009 and be current on immunizations. Carefully consider the developmental abilities of your child if they are very young with a summer birthday. Many young students benefit from watiting another year before entering Kindergarten.
Registration papers will be available beginning April 20th. You must present proof of residency (lease/sale agreement or utility bill) and a state issued birth certificate to pick up registration papers.
Kennewick School Bond
Kennewick School bond to be considered by voters again on May 19, 2009.
