Ridge View Library, 6:00 pm

WELCOME: Principal Lori Butler welcomed everyone in attendance. There were 15 people in attendance; 11 parents, 1 teacher, 2 PTO officers and the principal.

Shawna Cox, PTO President went through the year of events set up for the school year. Parents were able to ask any questions they had about each event and a short detailed description was given to help the new parents get a better insight as to what each event will look like.

*The concept of Committee Binders/Folders was explained and mapped out.

All but two committees were left to fill: Junior Joggers; takes place during the recess noon hour once a week. : Annette Rose Education Extravaganza; similar to a science fair. : Geeta Sawh & Jim Cooper

Thank you Annette, Geeta, Jim and all the other parents who have taken leadership roles for each of our committees. We appreciate each and every one of you!

Lori Butler explained the budget for the school year. There was some discussion of wanting to get some better playground equipment in the K-2 playground areas. Lori said we can look into it and that if we can still meet the requirements we could consider it. There was discussion about the mud under one of the younger student play set. Lori said that the Kennewick School District is in charge of that concern and they are trying to come up with a solution to this problem.

The Budget was voted on and past. All approved.

The meeting was concluded around 7pm.
